The story of Croatian birds

Eleonora's Falcons nest during August and September on the cliffs of Mediterranean islands. They nest so late because that is the season of migrations of various species of small birds, which are the main source of food for young falcons. By the end of October or beginning of November Eleonora's Falcons leave their nesting grounds and migrate down the western African coast to Madagascar, where they spend the winter. They return next spring.
